Vertu Australian Grand PrixOur partner Vertu has highlighted that the Australian Grand Prix is currently going on. If you happen to be in Melbourne, there are a good many iPass hotspots that you can take advantage of!

If you are headed to the Grand Prix, you are encouraged to take the trams, as there is no parking at Albert Park. The express trams pick up at a few locations, including Spencer at Collins Streets and Swanston at Federation Square. Both of these locations are blocks from Collins Street, notable as Melbourne’s traditional main street and often regarded as Australia’s premier street, with some of the country’s finest Victorian era buildings and prestigious retailers. Here are a sampling of iPass hotspots:

  • Holiday Inn on Flinders Mellbourne: A boutique style hotel, right by Block Arcade, a heritage shopping arcade built in 1891, with richly decorated interior spaces, replete with mosaic tiled flooring, glass canopy, wrought iron and carved stone finishings.
  • Great Southern Hotel
  • Crowne Plaza Melbourne
  • Grand Mercure Flinders Lane
  • Melbourne Intercontinental The Rialto iPass WiFiIntercontinental Melbourne The Rialto: Completed in 1891, when Melbourne was the richest city in the world, this restored hotel now blends traditional comfort with modern facilities and style.
  • Oaks on Market: Contemporary hotel-apartment accommodations.
  • Along the banks of the Yarra River and Collins Street, you’ll find many more iPass hotspots!
